The Rathwood restaurant serves wholesome food that can be enjoyed by all the family, from traditional home cooked meals to dishes with a special Rathwood touch, using the best of local ingredients as much as possible.

All year around, cakes are freshly baked every day at Rathwood. For Christmas, we have added a selection of seasonal delights to our wide variety of delicious cakes and tarts. Our Christmas puddings, mince pies and Christmas cakes will give you a taste of Christmas or, if you prefer, you can stick to the all-time Rathwood favourites, like the chocolate mud or banoffee pie. Most of Rathwood’s sweet treats are also available gluten-free, for celiac diets.

Our restaurant seats over 300 people so you don’t need to worry about bookings and is open later for the Christmas season so you can have a rest and enjoy a treat or two after your visit to Santa or a day of Christmas shopping.

Situated in the foot hills of the Wicklow mountains, an hour from Dublin and less than an hour to the coast, our location is a constant source of inspiration to our chefs. Fusing traditional techniques and world wide flavours our menu will have something for everyone. In fact we pride our selves on having something for everyone and we are happy to accommodate dietary requirements, we also have a healthy eating menu.

Our restaurant seats up to 300 people so there is no need to book, however we do have private room that can seat up to 70 people and ideal for all types of functions and get-togethers and we even have a home catering menu as well as take-away options!
